Didactic Development Workshop

Context and Goal

This 3 day tailor-made inhouse workshop for didactic development targeted university lecturers and researchers and has been implemented at two universities in Austria so far. Lecturers and researchers  who want to improve their (hybrid) teaching and facilitation skills should get a platform where they can explore effective ways of teaching and learn about effective tools and creative activities they can implement in their lessons and workshops.

The Method

Participants get practical and inspirational input for effective session design, useful checklists, concrete tips, and space for co-creation and practice. Inspirational input from the arts is used to inspire participants and encourage them to try out new ways of teaching.

Benefits and Session Themes

  • Classroom management in higher education
  • Design of productive learning environments for hybrid settings
  • Motivation, focus and attention in live and virtual settings
  • Peer exchange learning and peer feedback processes
  • Effective session design
  • Practical tools for activities and learning transfer
